OUR HISTORY
The company was founded in 2013. After developing and delivering a sound entry management system into Gated and Business Estates, we started to see the need for an intelligent surveillance system for entire communities. Our capable developers set to work to ideate the SNIPR software system based on the unique challenges faced in the landscape of the South African road network. What began as a vehicle and license plate recognition analysis engine has evolved into sound partnerships across the footprint of South Africa with key stakeholders in the security and law enforcement sectors. We quickly found our business evolving into community partnerships in fighting crime together.
From day one, our team's ideas and opinions have flowed freely, innovation and passion have driven us to constantly deliver dynamic solutions. Our company's success can be attributed not only to our collective experience abilities, but our ethics and values, the cornerstone of which, is people. We thrive through team work, and this is not only evident in the way we interact internally as business, but also in our relationships in the marketplace, which are of paramount importance to us.
We at SNIPR believe that reliability is a key factor when selecting any element of a security system. Human lives and property can only be protected optimally by robust and sophisticated systems.
Systems in themselves are not the solution. Design must be concerned with specific applications which are helpful in direct ways in a given scenario. We carefully craft not only our software system, but also the teams we choose to partner with in enabling communities to better equip themselves for safety and security.
Camera’s for Camera’s sake are not in themselves security. Monitored, linked to law enforcement and strategically placed, all with auditable records, cloud based infrastructure with millions of stored transactions and a user-friendly dashboard, surveillance just got a whole lot more effective. We have evolved with the products we design and supply to ensure the changing needs of the South African market are met, both now and into the future.
